Dixon Robertson is a solo practitioner in Columbia, South Carolina. He opened his practice in 1996. Previously he was a partner in Bowers Orr & Robertson, and an associate with Nexsen Pruet Jacobs & Pollard. He was law clerk to the late Judge Randall T. Bell of the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Dixon has both undergraduate (B.A., 1980) and law (J.D., 1983) degrees from the University of South Carolina. He served in the United States Army as an infantryman from 1974 to 1976, and is thankful that he never saw combat. He is a member in the American Association for Justice and the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association.
Dixon balances practicing law with developing software to help trial lawyers try cases. He lives in downtown Columbia with his wife and teenage daughter, where they all attend Washington Street United Methodist Church. He tries not to let his family interfere with his law practice and software development. Just kidding.
